The Lady Varnishes - You Have No Power Collection

I have for you today 3 polishes from the You Have No Power Collection by The Lady Varnishes.  This collection is inspired by the film Labyrinth so even if the polishes weren't so stunning, I would have been drawn to them anyway.

Thankfully this is not the case and the polishes are a great tribute to the movie.

Firstly we have Castle Beyond the Goblin City which is a dark gray jelly varnish with green microglitter, iridescent and gunmetal gray hexes..

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of King Arthur, 1 of Castle Beyond the Goblin City and 1 of the Shield.

Next we have Oubliette which is  a black varnish with flashes of purple, blue and green and glints of orange gold..

This is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 coat of Camelot, 1 of Oubliette and 1 of the Shield.

Lastly we have That's Close Enough which is  is a bright blue jelly varnish with red microglitter, blue glitter and iridescent hexes..

This is 1 cost of the Knight, 1 of Order of the Garter, 1 of That's Close Enough and 1 of the Shield.

I must say, I absolutely loved all 3 of these polishes, they can be built up alone instead of layering but as you know I generally always layer my polishes.

I love the look of the rest of this collection, of which there are 12 at the time of writing this, but The Lady Varnishes also has lots of other amazing collections.  You can buy her polishes on Etsy here.

Nails Inc Noho - Leather Effect

I have for you today another of the Nails Inc Special Effects polishes, this time I have a Leather Effect, which is called Noho.

Noho is the black leather effect polish and to be honest I fell in love with it way more than I was expecting.

You apply base coat (I used the Knight) as usual and then apply your first coat of Noho, wait for it to dry and then apply a second coat.  To preserve the Leather effect you should refrain from using topcoat.

I was so impressed by this polish and even without a topcoat I wore it for nearly a week and had no chips when removed, just a little tip wear.

I cannot wait to try some of the other Leather Polishes and am excited to see other effects from Nails Inc, such as the Denim polish.

Shimmer Polish Rochelle over Enchanted Polish Cranberry Cosmos

I have for you today another of the Shimmer Polishes, Rochelle which is a red and gold glitter.

I love these polishes, even though they are packed with glitter, they are very easy to apply and are also smooth with 1 coat of the Shield.

Here is 1 coat of the Knight, 1 of Enchanted Polish Cranberry Cosmos, 1 of Rochelle and 1 of the Knight.
